CASE: A MOTIVATED TEAM
Julián leads a so-called high-performance team. It is a cohesive team that sees each new project as an important challenge that it wants to overcome with enthusiasm and commitment. It is made up of people who are confident in the results of their efforts, who learn from their mistakes and work to improve their results.
Julián has known how to make this team perceive their work as stimulating, challenging and important.
What do we call motivational skills?
They are a set of skills aimed at motivating the people they are aimed at to act, leading to an improvement in their self-esteem and a feeling of satisfaction and commitment to their work. Julián knows how to use these skills in his team.
Knowing how to communicate
It is essential to know how to communicate with team members. Active listening is the way to find out what each person's needs are at work and what their expectations are. Adopt an empathetic attitude. Show interest in the individual person and the type of work he/she is doing with phrases such as How are you? How is everything going? The person feels that he/she is valued, that he/she is taken into account, and this improves his/her self-esteem and consequently his/her motivation.

Praise is very useful in motivating. It is important to give praise when a person
