As can be seen, the assessments are diverse and are determined by the way in which each individual perceives his or her needs; each one of them thinks that once this need is covered, satisfaction will be achieved.
Can we be fully satisfied with a job that is interesting but not very stable? What if we have bad relations with the team of colleagues?
Basic needs
They are of a biological or physiological nature: hunger, thirst.... If they are not covered, they fundamentally motivate the individual's behaviour.
Once satisfied, motivation by the expectation of basic benefits, such as money, bonuses, etc., is of limited effectiveness. Human beings are not happy just because these kinds of needs are satisfied.
Security needs
Protection from danger, threats, deprivation. Any action that creates uncertainty about the continuity of employment or that reflects favouritism may trigger the individual's need for security.
For Pedro, the main motivation for this job is that he can meet this kind of need.
Social needs
There are a number of so-called social needs to which an individual can aspire:
