What motivates you about your job? What made you choose your current job? Perhaps they were reasons related to expectations of external rewards: a good salary, security; others may have been due to internal factors: special interest in your type of work, desire to feel fulfilled...

CASE: JOB DISSATISFACTION

Susana and Carlos work in different departments of a regional government agency. Carlos feels unsatisfied at work, there is hardly any communication, the tension in the team is unbearable; going to work has become a real martyrdom, he is determined to change jobs. Susana feels comfortable in her workplace, the atmosphere is very pleasant; however, she realises that she has fallen into a certain monotony, and sometimes she is tempted to look for a new job, but when she thinks about it coldly, she asks herself: where can I be better off than here?
