6. M otivation
Performing a task properly is linked to a series of competences that we could identify with the required professional profile; but knowledge is not enough, it is essential that the person wants to perform the task. And what does this desire depend on?
It depends on a multitude of complex conscious or unconscious factors that drive or restrain our actions.
We will see what are the different factors that move the individual to act and those aspects and skills that can favour motivation within a team.
6.1. Satisfaction and motivation
Today's company no longer perceives the worker as a mere instrument in the production process, but as an active subject. The success or failure of a project rests on each of the individuals who participate in it. However, we all know that the result of our activity in any field is conditioned by the enthusiasm, commitment and desire we put into it. Where does the force that drives us to act come from? We will now identify the components of motivation.
What is motivation?
Motivation is the driving force behind all human behaviour. Motivation is a tension that makes the perception of a need and forces us to act towards the achievement of a goal.
What drives a person to drink water from such a source? Possibly a need to quench his thirst. Applying it to a work environment, an individual will be motivated by
