MANUAL TEAMWORK, LEADERSHIP AND NEGOTIATION

TEAMWORK, LEADERSHIP AND NEGOTIATION

A team leader must be able to convey this attitude to all team members.

It is necessary to pay special attention to the behaviours that occur in work meetings in order to remedy those that do not favour a cooperative attitude. It is also necessary to know how to find positive aspects in everyone and to externalise them.

Personal skills

The skills that allow us to resolve conflicts and tensions are:

• Objectivise the conflict, not getting carried away by emotions. • Resolve any conflicts as quickly as possible, without losing sight of the need for reflection. • To influence conflict prevention by creating an appropriate working environment in which communication and respect for others flourishes .

There has always been open and effective communication between us. Sara, the coordinator, has taken great care of it, so when I saw that Luisa was going her own way, I didn't hesitate to let her know. She apologised to me and now the two of us are evaluating each decision.

Empathy and self-esteem

Knowing others allows us to have a correct perception of the other. This is important both from a technical and a personal point of view. Taking an interest in all members, understanding them, caring about them, knowing how to respond to each person is important for a good working atmosphere.

Don't worry if you don't finish your work today. You've only been here a short time and learning takes time.

It is also important to be very sensitive to the self-esteem of the people we work with.
