MANUAL TEAMWORK, LEADERSHIP AND NEGOTIATION
TEAMWORK, LEADERSHIP AND NEGOTIATION
Planning serves as a reference for the coordination of action, control and monitoring of deadlines. It simulates the development of the project, reduces uncertainties and anticipates possible problems.
It allows us to communicate to all participants how the activities foreseen in the project will be carried out.
Good planning must answer the questions "what" and "who", when? and how?
Good planning must be flexible, revisions and adaptations are a sine qua non of planning. Overall objectives should be broken down into concrete goals assigned to individuals. They should state what is expected at each stage and how progress will be measured. It is important to gather feedback after reading it, mentally visualising each of the steps to be taken to reach the objective. The action plan should be concise and clear, and can be presented in the form of a graph.
Who should participate?
It is important to involve those who will be involved in the work in the planning phase. Their approach to the task makes the planning more accurate.
Participation increases commitment and motivation for the task at hand.
How to plan?
• Determine the main blocks of the project. • Identify all the tasks to be performed in the project, based on a decomposition of the work into work packages. A functional tree can help. • Establish temporal relationships between them, which ones are a priority?
