The problem with this process is that StartUps focus on product development, leaving the meeting with the market for the last phase. The Customer Development´s methodology strives to know what your customer is like, what problems they have, in order to know what they want and therefore be able to offer them an appropriate solution to their problem. Nowadays, at the technical level you can do almost anything, but what you cannot do is sell something that nobody wants. So why do companies insist on a product development process, but not a customer-oriented development process?
The Customer Development methodology has the following steps:
• Discovering the customer • Validate with the client • Co-creation of products and services with the customer • Create the business model underpinning the business project.
The Customer Development methodology strives to know what your customer is like, what problems they have, to know what they want and therefore to be able to offer them an appropriate solution to their problem 3.) Agile Development: It allows to test the validity of a business idea, product or service with agility and with the minimum consumption of energy and resources, through Agile and accurate methodologies.
